The Community of Eli
Shomrei Emunah has had a long and mutually rewarding relationship with Eli for many years. The shul actively supports the community, including visiting each year during the annual Israel Mission, sharing gifts for Bar and Bas Mitzvah youth.

3 Special Programs Offered by Yishuv Eli, Shomrei’s Sister Community
- Home Away from Home – A program designed for our youth that will be spending a year in yeshiva, seminary, or college in Israel. Members of Yishuv Eli have opened their homes to our students during their stay in Israel. Families from Eli will keep in touch with them throughout the entire year, invite them to be their guests for Shabbat and Yom Tov, as well as special events in the community.
- A Fascinating Tour of the Shomron – Past, Present, and Future
Spend a day in the hills of the Shomron, seeing Derech HaAvot, where our forefathers walked in biblical times. Tour the Tel Shilo archeological site, stand at the site of the Mishkan in Shilo, see the renewed settlement of the Eli area, and enjoy the wines and oils from the nearby boutique wineries and olive presses.
- Bar/Bat Mitzvah with Talmud Torah Hadar Yosef
- Relive history at locations of the Haftorah
- Share a meaningful family experience
- Hands-on activities for family and guests
- Beautiful indoor/outdoor catered events
